Low carb green smoothie

The low carb green smoothie is a great low carb breakfast option.  A green smoothie is quick to whip up in the nutribullet or blender, can incorporate one or two portions of veg and can be drunk on the run.

The advantages of using a nutribullet over a standard blender

Low carb green smoothie recipe

Whizz together in a nutribullet

1/2 a medium avocado (3g carbs)
3 blocks frozen spinach or two handfuls of fresh washed spinach (0.5g carbs)
30g scoop of low carb high protein whey powder (0.5g carbs)
100ml unsweetened almond milk (0.1g carbs)
100ml green tea, cooled (0 carbs)

Total carbs per serving 4.1g
